About
Crescent is an artists’ network created to provide:
- A space for broad discourse on the practice of art by Cheltenham and surrounding area artists in any medium/level.
- A positive environment for regular critique of work.
- A base from which to organise talks and workshops, exhibitions, trips and more.
We operate from a Montpellier based studio space, Crescent Art Space, which also offers the opportunity quarterly exhibitions (or residencies by proposal) by members and visiting artists. We hold regular meetings, once a month, as well as additional meetings for community based events such as drawing initiatives and to work our Art-llotment.
Membership is 15 pounds per annum. Funds are used to pay for advertising exhibitions, paying for membership to the local arts council. To join, come to a meeting!
